Changing a Secondment to Fixed-Term Contract Status (NCC)

Secondment to Fixed-Term Contract Guidance

1. Select the My Team icon from the home screen.   


 



2. Using the 3 dots icon next to the relevant employee’s name, select Change/End Assignment


 

3. Input the effective date

4. Use the drop down under What’s the way to change the assignment to select Change of Contract Type

5. Use the drop down under Why are you changing the assignment to select the reason for change as Fixed Term to Permanent



6. Click Continue

7. Assignment – use the drop down under Assignment Category to select Permanent

8. Click Continue

 




9. Submit the change (top right corner of the screen)


10. The request will be submitted for approval to the HR team. 


11.Once approved, you will receive an email notification and an update will appear on the Notification Bell at the top of your screen

 


Secondment to Permanent Guidance


  1. Select the My Team icon from the home screen.  

 

2. Using the 3 dots icon next to the relevant employee’s name, select Change/End Assignment


3. Input the effective date


4. Use the drop down What’s the way to change the assignment to select Change of Contract Type


5. Use the drop down under Why are you changing the assignment to select Secondment to Fixed-Term 


6. Click Continue.

 

7. Assignment – use the drop down under Assignment Category to select Fixed Term


8. Insert a date in the Fixed Term Contract Expected End Date field.


9. If the Temporary contract reason has changed, use the drop down under Temporary Contract Reason to change it.


10. Ensure that the Temporary Variation Expected End Date field is left blank.

              


11. Click Continue

12. Submit the change (top right corner of the screen)

13. The request will be submitted for approval to the HR team, if required. NB- All Change of Contract Types are subject to HR Approval

14. Once approved, you will receive an email notification and an update will appear on the Notification Bell
