For council graded jobs, the normal minimum notice periods on both sides are as follows:
LCC Notice period | NCC Notice period | ||
| Grade 1 to 9 | 1 month notice | Grade A-F | 1 month |
| Grade 10 to 12 | 2 months notice | Grade G-K | 2 months |
| Grade 13 to 22 | 3 months notice | SLMG+ | 3 months notice |
